I am a UK-based dance and movement practitioner. I trained in Contemporary Dance at Laban and continued training in improvisation and devising at the CCN, Montpellier, France. I’ve worked with a variety of dance artists and choreographers over the years such as Sayaka Tamagawa, Yawen Lin, Hofesh Shechter, Ben Wright, Rosemary Lee, Charlotte Spencer, Yuval Pick, Luca Silvestrini, Charlie Morrissey, Joan Clevillé and Meytal Blanaru.
My teaching practice is evolving – influenced by Bartenieff Fundamentals, Body Weather, Tai Chi, and various philosophical and deep ecology practices.
I enjoy developing and delivering movement workshops and classes for a variety of contexts such as professional open classes, company class for companies like Scottish Dance Theatre, or training workshops for institutions like Codarts, Rotterdam. In 2018, I joined the education team of Russell Maliphant Company.
In the crossover of livelihood and life, I have an ongoing practice of embodiment, nature connection, straight-talking and diving into the heart of the matter.
